This carton provides extra support by means of the glued crash lock
base therefore suits heavier products than
a side seam style. Also know as Auto Lock Base Style as the pre-glued
flaps on the base automatically form a
supportive base. Crash Lock cartons require slightly less assembly
than a side seam carton but production costs
can be slightly higher. Can be machine or manually assembled.
The top closure of a Crash Lock carton can be hinged from the front
or the rear. The sample illustrated is hinged from the rear whereby
the carton closes towards you at the top. Selected closure styles depend
on the
packing method, product weight, graphics and production efficiencies. |
